Foreign Service Entry Training: prepares candidates for the complex recruitment competitions listed below:
Canada: Application, Statement of Interest, Examinations and Interviews for Foreign Service Officers in DFAIT and CIC; Management/Consular, Commercial, Policy and Administrative Officers in DFAIT; Program Manager positions in CIDA.
United States: Application, Statement of Interest, Personal Narrative Questions and Oral Assessment for Foreign Service Officer, Foreign Service Specialist, Commercial Officer and USAID positions.
Career Development Coaching: provides a valuable edge to professionals in the government, non governmental, multilateral, academic, legal and corporate sectors who are competing for highly sought-after positions, and to government officers and executive-level staff who include our programs in their learning plan to enhance credentials for promotion.
We develop tailored Resumés and Cover Letters that demonstrate candidate strengths related to job poster and statement of merit requirements; deliver Personal Interview, In Basket, Simulation and Written Test coaching for behaviour-based promotion processes; and provide Reference Coaching, Debriefing Instruction and Presentation Skills training. Workforce Management and Transition help for government officers, managers and executives
If you are affected by the Selection of Employees for Retention or Lay-off (SERLO) process,
you may have to qualify for positions through screening that uses standard assessment methods developed and administered by the Public Service Commission in conjunction with department and agency HR units.
